Man deputies Tasered dies [San Bernardino County]
An Apple Valley [California] man man zapped twice with a Taser while in sheriff's custody in Rancho Cucamonga died without regaining consciousness 24 hours later in a Fontana hospital, authorities said Wednesday. Leroy Pierson, 55, was rushed to Kaiser Permamente Medical Center on Monday and placed on life support. He died at 5:45 p.m. the next day, San Bernardino County coroner's officials said.
